Crimea is facing water shortages: the geopolitical angle

In Crimea, people together with Orthodox priests are praying for rains and snow because throughout the last six months there was no rain during autumn, winter has been dry, and the reservoirs are almost empty. Journalists are forecasting apocalyptic scenarios for Crimea, including drought. In Simferopol, the authorities are gradually introducing a regime of limited water supply.
