The Soviet general and historian Bobylev disagrees with Zakharov, saying that he was the first to describe the wargames in detail, but he makes many key errors. Due to limitations, I won’t touch on things that were already repeated by Zakharov but it’s worth going through some of Bobylev’s ideas here where there are major differences.
