What Is Power Projection All About

The term “power projection”, often used in the language of military, geopolitics or geostrategy, is derived from the field of operational and strategic art, and is often used in literature and in American military and strategic documents. It means the ability to perform military operations against a potential opponent in the entire range of combat capabilities in such a way that the opponent must take this effect into account or even, and, in some cases, cannot oppose it.
